ART AWARD
TAKES OFF SOON

Art is an act of freedom. Art changes. Art creates. And Art deserves attention. The ARTRONAUT ART AWARD offers the weightlessness of space to artists all over the world.

THE 2021 ARTRONAUT ART AWARD:
AN AWARD WITH LUMINOSITY

You are most welcome to sign up today to get the chance to win the ARTRONAUT ART AWARD.

Art needs minds who shoot for the stars. ARTRONAUT searches for those who defy limitations, go new, radical, controversial paths and wander among the stars.
In this spirit, the theme for this year’s award was chosen.

Anywhere out of this world.

All professional artists are welcome to submit their works. An application deadline will be announced soon.

The art award is endowed with 10.000 €

The major prize for the ARTRONAUT ART AWARD is a 5.000 € acquisitive prize. In addition to the major acquisitive award, there will be further prizes in the amount of 2.000 € and 1.000 € determined by the jury as well as the audience price of 2.000 €.

Work by nominated artists will be offered for sale after the award ceremony. In this way, we not only intend to create financial value for the artists, but also work, among other things, to place their works in interesting and important collections.

The artworks by the 50 nominated artists will be presented to the public, both physically and digitally, in the framework of the exhibition in the ARTRONAUT space for art, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. Our main goal is not only to support the artists financially by selling their works, but also to work on the artist's career by placing their works into both private and public collections.

The nominated artworks will be published in a catalogue accompanied by the texts of the curator and initiator of ARTRONAUT space for art.

Technology and digitization will not save art.
Art will survive through its substance, its spirit and soul,
not its number of pixels.

Heinrich Breuer, Initiator
